Why this site exists
Search for a Boracay tours package and you get three unrelated products on one screen: flight-and-hotel bundles, Manila agency room promos, and a day on a boat. The pages selling them rarely say which one they are, and almost none of them mention the ₱500 every arriving visitor pays at Caticlan Jetty Port before reaching a beach.
None of that is secret. The environmental fee is published by the Municipality of Malay, the terminal fee by the Province of Aklan, and the inclusions are in each listing's own small print. Putting those next to the headline price is the whole job here.
Where the facts come from
Prices, durations, ratings, review counts, inclusions, group caps and cancellation terms are read off each operator's own listing on the date shown, in US dollars, with the product ID published so you can check the listing yourself. Tour listings checked: 11 August 2026. Entry fees, port operating hours and the accredited-accommodation rule are checked against Aklan provincial information, the Boracay iPass system and recent dated visitor reports.
Currency conversions use ₱61.18 to the dollar as of 11 August 2026 and are marked as approximate. Climate figures are long-term monthly averages, not a forecast. Where a listing admits something inconvenient in its own words, a non-refundable jet ski, a ₱1,000 cruise-ship pickup surcharge, a boat itinerary replaced by e-trikes in high wind, we quote it rather than smooth it over.
What we will not do
We do not invent a founder who lives on the island, and there is no byline on these pages pretending to be one. Nobody here claims to have ridden every jet ski in the comparison. We also do not sell flight-and-hotel packages, and we say so on the homepage rather than burying it.
Where the local walk-up price beats the bookable listing, the jet ski is the clear case, that is written down in the comparison, not left out because the listing pays a commission.
Corrections
Fees change, operators withdraw listings and boats move ports. If a number here has gone stale, tell us through the contact page and it gets checked and dated again. For a booking you already hold, the platform and the operator named on your confirmation are the only ones who can change it.
